A 4 piece band with guest singers pay tribute to Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper, plus a few original songs thrown in. Bob Bates has been performing throughout the US for over 40 years. Trained as a classical composer and bassist at the Juilliard School, he went on to teach high school orchestral studies for many years and performed as a guitarist, mandolin player, fiddle player and singer. He has written numerous classical pieces for orchestra and solo instruments and hundreds of popular music songs. His bluegrass band Dyer Switch is regularly on the charts.
